Casey Crane brings nearly 25 years of experience in healthcare, with expansive experience at a national level, and a passion for continuous improvement and commitment to excellence in operations. Her career began as a nurse in the emergency room and she has spent the last 10 years in the physician management space. She has vast knowledge in revenue cycle, coding and documentation education, and more than 13 years of experience in leadership, building clinical operations infrastructure and team development.
Casey currently serves as the Co-Chair for the Emergency Department Practice Management Association Quality, Coding and Documentation Committee, and is active in advocacy for emergency medicine. She is also an an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Healthcare Business Women’s Association, and American Academy of Professional Coders.. She serves on several advisory boards, both personally and professionally. Casey was the founder and executive sponsor for the ApolloMD Women’s Committee where she led initiatives to include Family Leave Policy Revision, Women’s Mentorship Program and fundraising/ advocacy for community programs for women and children.
