Hospitalist Physician (multiple positions) – 24 ON Physicians, PC – Alpharetta, GA

Render medical services in the medical specialty of Hospital Medicine. Providing appropriate general Hospital Medicine care and management of patients as a Hospitalist, including, but not limited to, appropriate evaluation, treatment and follow-up care for patients. Prescribe medication and/or procedures as is medically appropriate in accordance with applicable law. Maintain appropriate, legible and timely written patient records, which shall at all times be suitable for use by other physicians, and in strict adherence to the PC’s and the Facility’s policies regarding the preparation and custody of patient charts (including without limitation recording or causing to be recorded service level codes and diagnosis codes appropriate to the type and level of services rendered to patients in collaboration with appropriate Facility staff for all services rendered). Complete properly submitted information requests. Supervise individuals who participate in the care of patients or the rendering of services to patients for the purpose of providing high quality patient care. Foster development of managerial skills by individuals who participate in the care of patients or the rendering of services to patients. Participate in professional education programs which will maintain and advance professional and staff patient-care skills and programs which will educate patients and their families. Participate in activities directed toward improving the professional care rendered by Physician, including peer review and other programs designated. Fulfill the additional performance expectations determined by the Company.
