Hospital Medicine (SHM) has announced that Dr. Jordan Messler, Medical Director for Morton Plant's hospitalist program is among the 175 hospitalists nationwide who have
earned the Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine (SFHM) designation.

To be designated as a Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine, an
applicant must:
- Serve as a hospitalist for at least five years
- Be a member of SHM for at least five years, and
- Demonstrate their dedication to quality and process improvement,
commitment to organizational teamwork and leadership, as well as lifelong
learning and education.
"Dr. Messler has been on the forefront of
hospital improvement processes and initiatives at Morton Plant Hospital
