IN Compass Health and East Texas Medical Center

We are pleased to announce that IN Compass Health is partnering with East Texas Medical Center (ETMC) to create a new hospitalist program in Tyler, TX. ETMC and IN Compass Health are excited to implement the new program and ultimately better serve the local community.
As the largest and most comprehensive healthcare network in the region, ETMC consists of a seamless system of primary, secondary and tertiary facilities throughout East Texas and serves more than 300,000 residents annually. 

The hospitalist program will house a twelve physician model including one Medical Director that will efficiently manage patients during their hospital stay. IN Compass Health, in conjunction with 24ON Physicians, will recruit some of the best medical talent from around the country creating an effective hospitalist team.

ETMC will benefit from the new program by increased emergency department throughput, shorter patient length of stay, reduced cost per case, and increased PCP satisfaction and practice capacity. In addition, IN Compass Health also provides all management support services including billing, scheduling, credentialing, recruiting and marketing so that the doctors can focus on patient care.
